Description

Dendera is inspired by the great ancient Egyptian civilization and the mystery and immense beauty they left behind. The Dendera complex itself is a unique temple, famous for its?Dendera Lightbulbs?? and built upon a much older temple complex newly discovered beneath its floors.
The top notes open with rich spices, cinnamon and nutmeg for a warm and inviting beginning. A resinous natural incense accord built upon frankincense and myrrh continues to entice as the scent starts to dry down. The natural Moroccan orris butter has a dry dusty tonality with a gently sweet Rooibos tea like quality. The combination of the orris with the earthy Vietnamese oud is a beautifully dry and rich accord reminiscent of Egyptian desert sands.
As it dries down through the resinous incense base a creamy Indian sandalwood comes through, becoming softly coated in a sparkling fine musky white ambergris, a touch of vanilla adds a hint of sweetness. Designed to be a scent fit for a Pharaoh and inspired by their legacy.
